Schala is the daughter of Queen Zeal and the sister of Janus. Unlike most of the people living in the Zeal Kingdom, she is sympathetic toward the Earthbound Ones. Her pendant has magical powers, and can open sealed doors. It is the same pendant as Marle's, though it had lost its power when Marle received it. How the Guardia family obtained the pendant is unknown.
