Alfador is Janus's cat. At first he only likes Janus, but after Zeal falls he is seen playing with another person in the Last Village Commons. However, if Magus is present, he will dutifully follow him.
There is a running joke that Alfador is The Entity, but this is no more than a humorous jab.
Name Origin
His Japanese name seems to be Alphard, the brightest star in the constellation Hydra. The name comes from Arabic and translates to “solitary one”. This is appropriate for Janus.
