Bosses: Nizbel
The Reptite Lair was an auxiliary post of the Reptites, located south of Ioka, and housing a large amount of the creatures. It lay in an easily defended position thanks to the Forest Maze surrounding it; the actual complex consisted of several tunnels and dug outs. After the Gate Key was stolen from Lucca, Crono infiltrated the Reptite Lair and defeated Nizbel, its guardian. Azala, who was also present, taunted the party and retreated to the Tyrano Lair.
Much of the treasure in the Reptite Lair can be obtained by waiting for the Evilweevils to dig holes in the first room. Each hole usually leads to a different room, with four total.
