"The Song of Life"

• Schala spends some quality time with Ayla in the prehistoric era, and ends up witnessing the weird birth process of the Reptites from egglike pods. She also garners some unwanted attention from a caveman who proclaims himself "King Kong."

• At a prehistoric party Schala has an opportunity to speak with Magus at length. He reveals his history to her utter heartbreak, but Dream Bekkler gates in to lighten the mood. Magus reveals that he has Dream Bekkler to thank for making him realize that saving Schala should have been more important to him than revenge against Lavos; he recalls a conversation he had with Dream Bekkler while Crono's clone took shape in a biovat before the Heroes of Time ascended Death Peak to resurrect him.
